#PROM INSPO: 6 dress ideas for your high school prom

A promise is a promise, isn’t it? So, here you have it – 6 of my suggestions for the ultimate prom outfit to rock the end of high school!

1. CLASSIC

Flowy, elegant, this delicate dress is an eye-catching classic. With a sensual cut and a fine body line, this dress is the one if you believe, just like me, that less is actually more and simplicity means elegance.

#STYLING ADVICE: You can style it with a statement rhinestones choker and some old hollywood brushed curls.

2. MODERN & YOUTHFUL

Today everything’s about contrast – wether we talk about a black line on a white dress or a full-glam gown with a sports twist. Well, here’s both! If you’re not much of the classy type, then you’ll for sure like this mind-blowing twist!

#STYLING ADVICE: You can incorporate this dress in a minimalist outfit so keep the accessories low.

3. POLKA TULLE

This Alexander McQueen creation left me speechless at that time and, well, it still does. Simple yet outrageously beautiful, this dress stands out due to that magnificent pendant, agreed?

#STYLING ADVICE: Tie up your hair and wear a fresh makeup look with a bold eye.

4. BLACK VELVET

Velvet is timeless. Black is timeless. Twist it with an outstanding neckline and you’re good to rock your prom!

#STYLING ADVICE: Try a more creative makeup look, for instance, you can use an eye look with rhinestones or pearls – choose your jewellery according to the makeup.

5. BOLD

Chain yourself up for some fashion-iconing, because that’s how to make a statement. Choose the fabrics and the chains wisely and make sure they don’t look cheap because that’s going to ruin your look.

#STYLING ADVICE: I suggest you put a red lip on and a high ponytail.

6. RED ‘N’ RUN

High-thigh and breath-taking – that’s how to describe this dress worn by Elsa. Who said tulle dresses are basic?

#STYLING ADVICE: Keep a natural makeup look and spice it with some red lipstick and some discrete shiny stone earrings.

I deeply hope that my ideas helped you feel a little more prepared for your prom evening! Don’t forget that what makes you really special is feeling it – if you do feel great, then there’s no doubt you’ll feel so!
