This year I had the determination to attend the London Fashion Week, no matter what I had to do for it. So I started sending emails to brands as soon as the press list went published to the LFW website.
So, because of the limited time, I chose to attend only one show, even though I received over 10 invitations to shows by really inspiring designers. And that was the minki show, a brand that designs for the bold contemporary woman, aiming to create a colourful dialogue with his audience.
For SS19, Minki presented a fun aesthetic, playing with colour, optimism, print & texture to recreate the atmosphere of an African market.
Contrasts, dynamism, a vibrant chaos – that’s what the Minki collection was all about.
Concerning my outfit, it consisted of:
- a vintage shirt – local vintage shop
- snakeskin print top – local thrift store
- conic high-waisted trousers – H&M
- Dionysus belt – Gucci
- box bag – Bershka
- snakeskin leather pumps – Essenza
